Follow these steps to configure Sprout Video for Video Picker.

Connecting to Sprout Video

Connect to the Sprout Video API

1. Go to your Sprout Video account.
2. In the top-right profile dropdown, select Account Settings.
3. Navigate to API.
4. Copy your API Key and paste it into Video Picker.
5. Save the source, then click Connect to verify the credentials.

Explorer and URLs

After connecting, open a Video Picker field and browse All Videos or a folder. Search filters titles on the current page, so browse to the relevant folder or page if a known video is missing. Select it and save the entry to verify access.

You can paste URLs from sproutvideo.com/videos/… or videos.sproutvideo.com/embed/…. The preview uses the folder or account details for the owner and displays descriptions as plain text.
