Dividers

Dividers visually separate groups of links in the sidebar. For example, you might place a divider labelled Resources before links to your team's handbook and support service. A divider has no destination and cannot be clicked to open a page.

Creating a Divider

Open Control Panel Nav → Navigation as an administrator and choose the layout you want to edit. Open the dropdown beside New menu item and choose New divider item.

Enter Resources in Label and click Save to create the divider. It appears at the end of the menu; drag it above the links you want to group.

Reload the control panel and check that the divider separates the intended links. You can click its label in the builder to edit it again. For a line without text, clear Label on the existing divider and save. Leaving the label empty when first creating a divider gives it the default label Divider.

Positioning Dividers

Dividers always stay at the top level. They cannot be nested beneath another item, and other items cannot be nested beneath them. Place the links after the divider at the same level to group them visually.
