Follow these steps to configure Matomo Analytics for Metrix.

Connecting to Matomo Analytics

Connect to the Matomo API

1. Log in to your Matomo instance.
2. Go to Personal > Settings > API.
3. Copy your Auth Token and paste it into the API Token field in Metrix.
4. Enter your Matomo instance’s Base URL in the API URL field in Metrix (e.g., https://verbb.matomo.cloud).
5. Leave Enabled off and save the Source. Reopen it and click Connect.
6. Open the Provider tab and click the refresh button beside Site ID to load the available sites.
7. Select the intended Site ID, turn Enabled on, and save.
8. Reopen the Source and click Connect if it is shown as disconnected after saving the settings. Confirm a widget can load data for the selected site.
